The flashy, prize-studded game show The Price Is Right has been a TV staple for decades, and now a live, interactive version of the game is on its way to Birmingham. If you’ve ever pictured yourself heading down to the glittering stage to complete for those fabulous prizes, you might just get your chance to make it happen at The Price Is Right Live!
Show Details
The game show will come to the BJCC on Tuesday, March 31 starting at 8 p.m. Tickets currently start at $27, while you can also opt for premium tickets like the “Spin The Big Wheel” package. This bundle includes a tote bag, special merch, and the opportunity to come up and spin the massive wheel after the show. You can order your tickets via Ticketmaster. Keep in mind that opting for a VIP package won’t influence anyone chances of being called to compete.
The Price Is Right Live!
Audience members ages 18 and up can sign up for a chance to “come on down” and compete in The Price Is Right’s famous games. The lucky few will test their luck at the tricky Plinko board, make their best guess with the Showcase prizes on the line, and of course, spin the Big Wheel while the crowd cheers them on.
The Celebrity Host
While Bob Barker and Drew Carey have both hosted the television production, The Price Is Right recruits a list of celebrity guest stars to host the show when it goes on the road. For previous excursions, the retro-styled stage has welcomed the likes of NSYNC member Joey Fatone, Family Double Dare host Marc Summers, emcee Marco Antonio Regil, and Chuck Woolery – the original host of Wheel of Fortune.
