2013 Accord Vs 2012 Camry – Part 1

Newly redesigned for the model year, the 2013 Accord packs twice the punch of its predecessor for only $200 more. The 2013 Accord LX — starting at $21,325 – comes with more standard technology and better looks than the 2012 Camry.

Technology

The 2013 Accord has been upgraded to the supercomputer ranks and provides technology at a price point previously unheard of. The 8-inch customizable touch screen, intelligent multi-informational display (iMID) revolutionizes the midsize sedan and the daily commute. The i-MID system displays everything from SMS texts to rearview camera footage. It’s also Bluetooth HandsFreeLink® compatible. No smartphone? Not a problem; The Accord has a second, smaller, 6-inch screen that controls the USB audio interface.

2013 Honda Accord

Toyota can’t match the upgrade Honda has given its less expensive base model. The Camry L is bare bones with none of the Accord’s advanced features. One step up from the L, the Camry LE still only holds a candle to the 2013 Accord.

Accord LX :

(MSRP $21,325)

  • 8-inch i-MID customizable touch screen
  • Steering wheel mounted controls
  • Streaming Music with Pandora® compatibility
  • Outside temperature display
  • Basic back up camera (only available on the $30,115 Camry XLE)
  • Dual Zone Climate Control (only available on the Camry XLE)

Camry LE :

(MSRP $22,600)

  • 6.1-inch touch screen (much smaller than the Accord’s iMID)
  • Steering wheel mounted controls
  • Bluetooth® music streaming
  • Outside temperature display

A Car You Want to be Seen In.

If looks are important to you, the redesigned Accord is your best bet. It’s muscular exterior boasts a new front grille, more streamlined build, and standard 16-inch alloy wheels provide for a more luxurious look than in the past. The Accord offers 17-inch on the EX and EX-L, as well as 18 on the Sport models. The Camry’s no frills exterior does offer 17-inch alloy wheels, but only on the LE.

2013 Honda Accord

The 2012 Toyota Camry falls short of what a car should be in the 21st century. In a progressively smart-technology centered society, the affordable Accord makes what people have come to expect in their everyday lives standard in their cars. Not only is Honda in tune with the needs of the consumer, but also offers solutions at the lowest price without overlooking quality.
