Be sure to wear your green clothes as you come out to the 32nd Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade by REV Birmingham and Five Points South. Come out early or stay after to grab lunch, dinner or a drink from one of the many participating merchants who will be offering Irish foods and drink specials all day. Get there early to get a good spot with the family or you can visit one of the many outdoor venues.
Parade Information
The parade line-up will start at 11 am. Between 10th and 11th Ave. S. by the Alys Stephens Center in the UAB Highlands Parking Lot. Be there early to get a good spot in line.
The Band
Sturrock Memorial Pipe Band will lead it on Saturday, March 12 from 1:30 to 2:30. This bagpipe and drum band is based right here in Birmingham, AL. They have been leading Birmingham St. Patrick’s Day Parade for years, and are an important part of the culture in the city. They always put on a great performance, so they’re sure to do the same this time around.
