Most people think of Honda as solely an automotive manufacturer. However, this company has expanded its talents and uses its technical expertise in power equipment, such as lawn mowers, as well. The HRS lawn mowers are just one of four lines of Honda lawn mowers, and there are two choices available. Each has unique advantages and features, as well as some similar ones.
Honda HRS216PKA
This model, as well as the other HRS lawn mower, has a Honda 160cc engine that is easy to start and side discharge. This push mower has a 21-inch heavy-duty steel mowing deck to help you cut your lawn. The Honda GCV160 engine is easy to start and powerful. You don’t even have to choke the engine to start the machine. At only 66 pounds, this mower is also very easy to maneuver and store. It is versatile as well, offering the choice of 6 cutting heights between 1 and 3.5 inches. It comes with a 3-year residential warranty.
Honda HRS216SKA
The HRS216SKA is similar to the previous HRS lawn mower, also offering a 3-year residential warranty and featuring the same GCV160 engine, 21-inch heavy-duty steel mowing deck, and side discharge. It even has the same Honda Auto Choke System to make it easier to start. The main difference between the two models is their propulsion method. This particular lawn mower is self-propelled and goes at a single speed so you don’t have to push it. The system means that it weighs a bit more at 73 pounds. Other than that, the features are nearly identical.
