No matter the Honda vehicle you will be driving, it is important to be familiar with the relevant limited warranty. The limited warranty helps give you the peace of mind that you don’t have to invest money on major repairs right away. All new Hondas tend to have the same limited warranty, which is made up of several specific warranties, such as one for the powertrain.
The Warranty
The New Vehicle Limited Warranty lasts for 36,000 miles or 3 years. New Honda models also have a Limited Powertrain Warranty that lasts 60,000 miles or 5 years. This warranty will cover ordinary adjustments or maintenance as well as parts that are subject to the normal patterns of wear or replacement, with a few exceptions. Any Honda Genuine Accessories also have an Accessory Limited Warranty that lasts 36,000 miles or 3 years if they are installed when you buy your new vehicle. Genuine Parts are covered by the Replacement Parts Limited Warranty, which covers parts, labor, and replacement for a year. Finally, drivers get a Corrosion Limited Warranty that lasts for 5 years.
Roadside Assistance
When you get a new Honda, you receive Roadside Assistance in addition to the limited warranty. This involves 24-hour road service in emergencies within the United States, Puerto Rico, or Canada during the same 36,000 miles or 3 years that your limited warranty covers. It includes towing, lockout assistance, flat tire assistance, jump-starting, and more.
