There is nothing quite like the experience of watching the UAB Blazer’s basketball team take on the competition! Watching the Blazers go up and down the court is almost poetry in motion. Even better than cheering on the Blazers is the ability to attend any of their home games when they are having a promotion. These promotions and giveaways help to make an already awesome experience even better. Here are a few of the highlights a fan of the Blazers can look forward to this season.
UAB Blazers January Promotions
While the month of January is still new and fresh, there are some awesome promotions that you need to be aware of for when the Blazers are playing at home. One of the ongoing promotions in January will be Gold rush Thursdays. This is a fun time for all as all hot dogs are just one dollar and there will be free tailgates before each game. Students are encouraged on these days to wear gold and show off their Blazer pride.
UAB BLazers February Promotions
As was the case in January, Thursday home games are Gold Rush Thursdays. In addition to this there are a couple of special promotions that you should know about. There will be a special alumni reunion of the men’s basketball teams from the past as well as the ever popular Bartow Classic named after the great coach Gene Bartow.
Other UAB Blazers Promotions
Along with the ones listed above, there are also a number of other special promotions that you can take part in during all home games, things like in game giveaways and contests keep the excitement of Blazer basketball alive and well.
