If you live in Birmingham then you absolutely have to see the Fourth of July fireworks at Thunder on the Mountain. This show is enormous and can be seen from many prime locations in Birmingham. Here are some places you can take your Honda to see the fireworks show.
Shades Cahaba Elementary School
The Shades Cahaba Elementary School parking lot is one of the prime locations you can catch the firework show. The school is located on Montgomery Highway across from the Piggly Wiggly. It is on the corner of Hollywood Blvd. and Montgomery Highway.
Take your Honda for a drive to the parking decks at UAB. This high up spot is located at the corner of 5th Ave. S. and 16th St. S. This spot offers an amazing view of the show.
5 Points Birmingham
Watching the fireworks show from downtown 5 Points South is always a blast because there is a street party to accompany the show. The party and the view are located on 10th Ct. S. surrounded by Southside Baptist Church, the Birmingham Public Library Southside, and Marty’s PM. If you like to party then this is definitely a spot to consider.
Downtown Homewood
Another cool place to watch that has a street party is downtown Homewood. Located on 29th Oxmoor and 19th St. S. This spot offers an amazing view and a ton of fun with people crowding the streets to watch. Hop in your Honda to get there while there is still parking!
