Read any review of the new Honda Civic Coupe, and it will be sure to mention the big debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show in November. Prior to the show, experts only know that this two-door model showed off sportier lines than the sedan that we saw earlier on.
First Impressions of the new Civic
The exterior of the 2016 Honda Civic Coupe is incredibly similar to the concept that was released earlier in the year. The only major difference is the lower-body addenda, which is tamer. Overall, the Civic Coupe takes the Sedan version and trades in the rear-seat space and practicality for style without sacrificing other features. Experts at the LA Auto Show, like those from Car and Driver, were impressed with the overall design and the fact that the coupe is still an option.
A Closer Look at the 2016 Honda Civic Coupe
Take a closer look at the Civic Coupe, and you will notice that the entire rear portion of this model is different from its sedan counterpart. The roof has its peak right above the vehicle’s front seats, and the rear fenders have beefier sections thanks to the side glass tapering inward. The rear overhang is 5.5 inches shorter than the sedan, and the remaining portion is finely sculpted with beautiful taillights. The result is 2016 Civic Coupe that is planted, muscular, futuristic, and fresh.
