Birmingham Art Crawl

Join the Birmingham Art Crawl every first Thursday from 5:00 – 9:00 pm, rain or shine, as downtown Birmingham, Alabama transforms into a walking art gallery full of artists, performers, food and fun! Art Crawl is a great way to meet local artists and performers, buy and appreciate their work, and be part of the rapidly growing art scene in Birmingham. You also get a chance to shop after-hours in some of downtown Birmingham’s most popular businesses. An estimated 3,000 art enthusiasts attend each month in support of 40+ local artists. Venues stretch across the historic arts, loft, and theater districts including galleries, restaurants and bars, downtown businesses and more. Look for the latest edition of Weld for Birmingham on the first Thursday of the month to find the official Birmingham Art Crawl map and to be able to navigate to each location.

Event begins this Thursday, November 3rd.

Don’t miss the hilarious Jen Kober perform at the Comedy Club Stardome November 1st-6th! Originally from Lake Charles, Louisiana, Kober has recently relocated to Los Angeles where she has quickly become a nationally known headliner- playing colleges, casino’s and comedy clubs all over the country and bringing crowds to their feet with her original blend of stand-up, storytelling and improvised rock-n-roll comedy.

Christmas Village Festival

Held annually at the Birmingham Jefferson Convention Complex, Christmas Village Festival is an Alabama tradition with deep roots not only in Alabama hearts, but in the hearts of customers all across the United States. Mothers and daughters, sisters, and friends begin their holiday shopping by meeting in Birmingham the first weekend in November to enjoy an amazing variety of gift ideas – all under one roof. While some shoppers make a day or it, others have decided that one day is just not enough time to take in the unique sampling of arts, crafts, and food.

November 3-6, 2016 – General Admission
Adult Tickets: $12.00
Children 6-12: $5.00
Children under 6 admitted Free!
$1.50 handling fee per order.

Moss Rock Festival

Moss Rock Festival is a free, eco-creative festival exploring Nature, Eco-Ideas, Art + Design the first weekend in November at The Preserve in Hoover. Admission is FREE! All visitors will park & ride one of the free festival shuttles from the Hoover Metropolitan Stadium to The Preserve, a classic American neighborhood in Hoover. The Hoover Met baseball stadium is located off of Hwy 150 and Stadium Trace Parkway. Shuttles will run regularly from 9:30am to 6:00pm Saturday and 9:30am to 5:00pm Sunday. Visitors will be dropped at The Preserve’s retail center. The roads that are part of the festival site surrounding the neighborhood’s Village Green will be blocked to thru traffic.
