Birmingham Barons at Regions Field
May 19th – May 23rd the Birmingham Barons will be taking on the Montgomery Biscuits at Regions Field. Region Field was named the top AA ballpark by Baseball America and it is a great place to take your family to catch a game. Gather up your friends and family, hop in your Honda Pilot and cruise through beautiful downtown Birmingham where Regions Field is located. Barons games offer food, music, and fun for the whole family!
Cahaba Lily Festival in West Blocton
On May 21st head out to the Cahaba Lily Festival in West Blocton. Your family can watch the lilies bloom, have lunch, and take in a story telling and dulcimer concert. You can also rent canoes to get in the water with the lilies. If getting in the water sounds good, then load your kayak up on top of your Honda Odyssey and bring your own water transportation! You don’t want to miss out on this fun, informative festival.
Bob Sykes BBQ and Blues Festival
If the Cahaba Lily Festival is a little too slow-paced for you, then check out the 7th Annual Bob Sykes BBQ and Blues Festival. This festival is also on May 21st and it offers live music, crafts, and of course barbecue! Open the sunroof on your Honda Accord and cruise to beautiful, historic downtown Bessemer where the festival is located. This event is fun for the whole family!
