HondaLink is the innovative infotainment system on Honda vehicles, working to link your smartphone and give you access to a range of new apps. The exact functions HondaLink offers depends on the generation, with HondaLink Next Generation offering a bit more than First Generation.
What It Includes
If you have HondaLink First Generation, you are able to easily connect your smartphone to your Honda vehicle. This lets you access your social media, contacts, music, and more via the screen in your Honda instead of using your phone. Models with HondaLink Next Generation take this functionality and add an application-based platform that will let you access various services. It works with the HondaLink Connect App to help you remember about routine maintenance, access the owner’s manual, and take advantage of remote services, as well as access apps, such as iHeartRadio. The Aha app offers even more, such as restaurants, gas stations, hotels, social media, and Internet radio.
Models with It
The HondaLink First Generation comes standard on certain trims of the Accord (as a Coupe, Sedan, Hybrid, or Plug-In), Crosstour, and Odyssey. The HondaLink EV App comes on the 2014 model of the Accord Plug-In and the 2013 or 2014 models of the Fit EV. If you want HondaLink Next Generation and increased features, you will want to select a Civic (Coupe, Sedan, Si Coupe, Si Sedan, Hybrid, or Natural Gas), CR-V, or Fit.
