More About the Band
Explosions in the Sky is a band from Texas that brings you amazing American post-rock music. They originally played under the name of Breaker Morant and then changed to their current name in 1999. But since their debut, they have been producing sounds unlike any other artists heard before. This band has gotten very popular from their style of music beyond the post-rock scene. Fans love their guitar work, instrumentals, and what they refer to as “cathartic mini-symphonies”. Their shows are enthusiastic and emotional, using three electric guitars and a drum kit. The music they play is mostly instrumental, and they have a lot of people on stage at once – generating a pure musical sound.
