Do Dah Day in Birmingham, Alabama is not just for human family members either. In fact, this non-profit, all-volunteer organization is on a mission to help homeless animals and has raised over $1.3 million since 1992 to help the cause. Do Dah Day: Event Details
Whether you’re an Alabama resident or planning a trip, Birmingham is the place to be during Do Dah Day weekend. The festivities begin on Friday, May 19th at 7:00 PM and the main event is held on Saturday, May 20th. During the main event, the parade starts at 11:00 AM at Caldwell and Rhodes Parks in Southside. Afterward, the festivities begin at 12:00 PM in the parks. Have a splendid time while knowing that you’re helping to benefit homeless animals who need you.
